Excellent mechanics and faultless function. The slide shows thinning blue with high-edge wear. The front and back of the grip show considerable loss of blue, as shown in the photos. The trigger has lost some blue on its face and both sides. There is no exterior pitting. The barrel is bright and shiny with strong, sharp rifling. There is only slight darkening in the groves just ahead of the chamber. No pits. This is a really nice M51.
