Buyer must be 18 years old for long guns and 21 years old for handguns plus be legally able to possess a firearm. I am a Federal Firearm Licensed dealer. I intend to abide by all federal and Virginia laws. You must abide by all local, state, and federal laws. You are responsible to know your local laws. I can only ship a modern firearm (made after 1898) to a licensed dealer. I must first receive a copy of a local gun dealer's Federal Firearms License (FFL) signed in ink. (Faxed copies are acceptable.) An antique firearm (made before 1899) is not subject to federal regulation and can be shipped to an individual who is otherwised qualified to possess and own such a firearm, provided such a transfer is legal under the laws of the state where the purchaser lives.
Unless otherwise agreed, buyer will pay all charges for shipping and insurance. If an item is damaged in shipment, have the FFL dealer call me immediately and they MUST save all packaging material and box/case and you must file a claim with the shipping company.
Payment may be made by cashiers check, wire transfer, or other guaranteed funds. (Note: Other personal checks take up to two weeks to verify clearance.) All instruments should be made payable to ROSCOE B. STEPHENSON, III. Virginia residents must include sales tax of 5.3%. Mail your payment to:
Roscoe B. Stephenson, III

The buyer will have an inspection period of three days, beginning upon delivery to your dealer. If you decide you do not want the gun, for any reason at all, notify me and return it within three days, in the same condition as sent. I will refund your money promptly and in full for guns returned within three days, in the same condition as sent. Unless I specifically agree otherwise, the firearm may not be shot during the inspection period. I will not refund any shipping charges. You must cover the cost of return shipping and insurance should you decide to ask for a refund.
All items are subject to prior sale.
Finally, I don't have a gun showroom. If you want to come to Covington to see something, be sure to call ahead to make arrangements. I'll gladly meet with you, but if you just pop in, you won't find anything to look at.
If you have any questions at all, please feel free to call me or contact by email.
